Is Rustic Brick real brick?

Yes. Rustic Brick is thin cut real brick.

Where can Rustic Brick be used?

Rustic Brick can be used on most indoor surfaces that are relatively smooth, dry and free of dust and debris. It can be applied to walls, backsplashes, islands, etc. It is not designed for flooring or countertop material.

How do I install it?

Please refer to our installation guide for step-by-step instructions. Be sure to remove your Rustic Grove product from the box and allow it to acclimate inside your location for 72 hours before installation.

How do I clean Rustic Brick?

Use mild soap and water or vacuum to dust.

Can Rustic Brick be exposed to humidity and/or water?

Indoor use as a backsplash is fine, Brick sealers can provide protection as well but can alter the appearance of the brick slightly so test a small sample before covering the entire project. Sealers retain the natural appearance of the brick as much as possible. Sealers, such as Thompson’s® Water Seal® Water proofer Follow the manufacturer’s directions.

Can Rustic Brick be exposed to UV rays and outside elements?

Rustic Brick is manufactured for indoor and exterior use.

Can Rustic Brick be exposed to heat?

We recommend a minimum 6-inch space between the heat source or burner and the installed brick panels. You may also refer to your stoves (or other heat source) manufacturer for specific information.

Should I seal Rustic Brick so it can easily be cleaned? What type of sealants do you recommend?

To seal your brick panels, Sealers, such as Thompson’s® Water Seal® Water proofer Follow the manufacturer’s directions

Should I seal Rustic Grove so it can easily be cleaned? What type of sealants do you recommend?

To seal your planks and panels, use a good wood sealer or polyurethane finish to protect the wood. Follow the manufacturer’s directions. Sealers and polyurethane finishes can deepen and darken the color of the wood. Choose from finishes that can leave a high sheen or glossy appearance, or satin finishes, much like paints.

Can I paint Rustic Brick?

Yes, you can if you’d like.

When starting a project, would I work from one side to the other, or from the center out?

Starting from a corner and working left to right on your longest run produces the best results.

What is the warranty on Rustic Brick?

ACP, the manufacturer of Rustic Brick Panels, guarantees our products will be free from manufacturing defects for a period of (5) years from the date of purchase. This warranty does not cover problems caused by improper installation methods. It covers installations done in accordance with the installation and handling instructions contained within each box of panels. This warranty does not cover damage caused by improper maintenance or by use contrary to our recommendations. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or finish color changes due to exposure to make, fumes, leaks or abuse. This warranty is not transferable and applies to the original purchaser only.
